Want Money for YOUR next film?
We wanted to put something new on your radar—something that might actually put money back into your production budget instead of draining it. The Flatiron Film Project opened up their Spring 2026 Grants, and it’s a solid opportunity if you’re gearing up for your next film.
There’s still time to apply with the next deadline December 15th and the final deadline on January 15, 2026.
Here’s the quick breakdown:
They’re selecting 3–5 filmmakers and giving out $500 to $5,000 in straight-up cash. No gimmicks. Use it for whatever part of production needs love—gear, actors, post, locations, feeding your crew something better than pizza… it all counts.
Selected projects also get:
• Festival submission waivers for UIFF, Denver, Aspen, and Ridgway
• Discounts on post-production services (editing, sound design, animation, titles—basically all the wallet-pain stuff)
• A one-on-one strategy session with a veteran indie producer to plan your festival debut and avoid common landmines
Anyone in the U.S. can apply, but they do reserve two spots specifically for Colorado filmmakers or Colorado-based productions. If that’s you, odds just tilted a little in your favor.
Here’s the dates to keep in your brain:
Regular deadline - December 15th ($50 application fee)
Late Deadline — January 15 ($55 application fee)

We’ll keep sharing opportunities like this when they actually make sense for filmmakers. This one does.
